Meet The Pilot
I'm so glad you're here and excited to share a little bit about myself. My name is Chris, and I'm the owner and operator behind Skyhawk Agriculture.
My path into aviation didn’t start on a flight line, it started in a strawberry field. Growing up, I worked at a local U-pick farm, where I learned early on what hard work really meant. Long days, early mornings, and a job to do no matter what, that mindset stuck with me.
That work ethic eventually led me to the U.S. Navy, where I’ve now spent the last 19 years building a career around aviation. Along the way, I found my place working on F/A-18 fighter jets in Oceana, Virginia. For 10 years, I was hands-on with those aircraft, troubleshooting problems, turning wrenches, and making sure each jet was ready to do its job. There’s something special about knowing the work you put in directly impacts a mission’s success.
Wanting to deepen my knowledge, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. It gave me a better understanding of the “why” behind the work I’d already been doing for years.
But for me, aviation has never just been a job, it’s something I genuinely enjoy. Outside of work, I’ve spent over 1,000 hours flying drones and RC aircraft. It’s a different kind of flying, but it still brings that same focus and satisfaction.
Looking back, it’s been a journey built on hard work, curiosity, and a real passion for aviation—from strawberry fields to flight lines and everything in between.
Proudly serving farmers and landowners across Southeast Wisconsin.
